The first stop today was at River Hill Village, Lea Ann and her daughter Lauren took eleven of us to visit River Hill Public School, which is located in a suburban area of Howard County. The principal of the school showed us the different facilities that this huge and modern school offers to this community. It was interesting to see the resources they have: special computer labs for Music, an auditorium for 700 people and a close circuit television studio, just to mention a few. Simply perfect. After this High School and walking across the road, we also visited Clarksville Elementary School, which is as huge and fantastic as the previous one we saw today, here, we observed third graders working on their laptop computers in the technology classroom. Simply unbelievably. Later we had lunch at Lea Ann´s beautiful suburban house and then we visited a teacher´s supply store to buy some unusual school stuff.
