This morning started with a short ride to Central Park because at 11 a.m. we took a boat tour around Manhattan Island. The water ride provided a generous display of amazing views for our cameras. After this, it was time for a sightseeing tour around the city on a double-decker bus. It stopped regularly so you could pop off and walk around the place and pop on again as desired. After going past the famous Empire State Building and many other well known New York attractions, we visited “Ground Zero”. There a memorial and five other buildings are being built in the same location where the World Trade Center had the Twin Towers that collapsed on 11th November, 2001. In the evening, we made our way to Columbus circle to see the fountains and the huge skyscrapers surrounding it.
